Final steps:
1. Fill in the rest of the Eagle Scout Workbook explaining how you completed the project
2. Write “Requirement #6” - http://www.eaglescout.org/path/path_req6.html . Don’t sweat this. One sheet of paper is a great plenty.
3. Finally, have someone (doesn’t need to be you, can be anyone really) go to the Scout Office on Genesee Street and get a “Verified Eagle Application” from Pat Grogan. This thing needs several signatures (scoutmaster and committee chair, I think), and a list of who is sending in the reference letters.
4. Turn in the Eagle Project Workbook, Requirement #6, and the Verified Eagle Application back into the Scout Office (again, anyone can buzz this in).
5. All material, either for project approval or for a final Eagle Scout Board of Review, needs to be at the Council office by the first Thursday of the month to be considered for the Board of Review meeting held on the second Thursday of the month.
If you are about to turn 18, make sure ALL of your paperwork is turned in to the Council office before your birthday. Your final Eagle Board of Review can take place after you turn 18, but all of your paperwork must be turned in beforehand. This is non-negotiable. Don't let this be the reason you don't become an Eagle Scout!
The Board of Review does not meet July or August. Plan accordingly.
Letters of recommendation may be addressed to:

Scouts will be called to schedule a time when all materials have been received.
